Hello Daily Play Action! Anthony Marro here back to share my Men’s NCAABB picks with you today and every day, as tournament time approaches. This season I have floated around 59% ATS on over 250 picks, and feel I know these teams well enough to provide consistent winners. This article will have my picks but you can also follow my Twitter for all bets against the spread. My write-ups and any O/U action will be posted exclusively here on DPA!

  • Daily Play Action ATS Record: 13-6-0
  • Daily Play Action O/U Record: 6-1-0
  • Season ATS Record: 165-114-7

Notre Dame vs Georgia Tech, Under 127

  • This season Notre Dame has gone 11-20 O/U in favor of the under. Georgia Tech has gone 12-19 O/U in favor of the under
  • Sophomore DJ Harvey went down against Louisville and in the two games since Notre Dame has gone under by 7 and then 26 points. He was third on the team in scoring averaging 10.7 points per game
  • Historic numbers are not always the most reliable but the past nine match-ups between these teams have all gone under
  • Both teams play with slower possession lengths than the D-I average. Neither really have a chance at making the NCAA Tournament so I do not expect any more urgency than usual

Boston College +1 vs Pittsburgh

  • It appears that Nik Popovic is going to play which is huge for Boston College, but regardless they should have the talent to beat this Pittsburgh team that went 3-15 in conference play this season
  • Without the services of Popovic, Boston College was able to defeat Pittsburgh by nine points in February. Since that game their record is 5-3 against the spread. They are topping the line by an average of 6.5 points in those five covers
  • Regardless of whether the 6′ 11″ center plays, Boston College will have Ky Bowman on the floor the entire 40 minutes or close to it. He averages 19.2 points per game and shoots 40% from three point range
  • Pittsburgh went 1-13 to close out the season covering the spread in just one of those games, their three point win against Notre Dame

Appalachian State at Louisiana Monroe, Over 154

  • As a home team this season Louisiana Monroe has gone 10-3 O/U in favor of the over. They also broke the 155 total in eight of the last eleven games they’ve played in this season
  • Louisiana Monroe shot 38.9% from three point range this season. This bodes well for the over as the man defense of Appalachian State has allowed an average of nine three pointers per game
  • Appalachian State can shoot the ball too. They likely will have trouble keeping the game close but with a tempo ranked in the Top 30 in the nation they will more than contribute their share to the total
  • Appalachian State on average finishes games 4.1 points over the total while Louisiana Monroe finishes at a whopping 7.1 points over

I play every game I post so you should not be afraid to tail, but never go too heavy on any one game. These few weeks of hoops are a marathon not a sprint, so manage your bankroll appropriately. That being said scared money is lost money! Let’s win today Playmakers!
