Hello Daily Play Action! Anthony Marro here back to share my Men’s NCAABB picks with you tonight and every night, as tournament time approaches. This season I have floated around 59% ATS on over 250 picks, and feel I know these teams well enough to provide consistent winners. This article will have my picks but you can also follow my Twitter for all bets against the spread. My write-ups and any O/U action will be posted exclusively here on DPA!

  • Daily Play Action ATS Record: 1-2-0
  • Daily Play Action O/U Record: 1-0-0
  • Season ATS Record: 153-110-7

St. Bonaventure at Davidson, Under 129

  • St. Bonaventure is 9-19-1 O/U on the season in favor of the under
  • After suffering a 75-66 loss against Davidson in their first meeting, St. Bonaventure has broken a 129 point total just twice in the eight games since
  • This is the lowest total this match up is projecting since February 2015 when these teams combined for just 121 points
  • Both teams clock in with extremely slow tempos. Davidson holds the ball for an average 18.4 seconds per possession and St. Bonaventure with a whopping average of 19.1 seconds per possession

Duquesne +7.5 at Saint Louis

  • Duquesne is 7-2 against the spread in away games this season. Meanwhile Saint Louis is 7-8-1 as a home team against the spread
  • Since the start of conference play Duquesne has only lost one of their sixteen games by greater than six points
  • They also have a lot to play for. By winning out Duquesne can secure a top four seed in the A-10 Tourney and a double bye while Saint Louis is nearly a lock to play in the second round
  • In five of the last six games between these two games no team has won by more than seven points. This one will be tight from start to finish

Iowa State -5.5 at West Virginia

  • Iowa State is 15-12-2 against the spread which is impressive considering the tough schedule they’ve faced. Their success against stiff competition is represented by their Top 20 NET Ranking
  • The home team has a strong advantage late in the season as seniors prepare to say goodbye to their fans. The good news however is West Virginia does not have a single senior on the roster
  • In their past four meetings Iowa State has covered the spread. This includes two victories straight up as the underdog and a 25 point victory earlier this season
  • You can argue Marial Shayok is the best player in the Big 12 and he continues to heat up as postseason play draws near

I play every game I post so you should not be afraid to tail, but never go too heavy on any one game. These few weeks of hoops are a marathon not a sprint, so manage your bankroll appropriately. That being said scared money is lost money! Let’s win today Playmakers!
