NCAA BASKETBALL – 11.28.2019 – Best Bets for Thursday’s College Hoops (Free)

Hello Daily Play Action! Anthony Marro here, back to share my NCAA Men’s Basketball picks for the entire college season. Last year I was happy to supply over 300 picks against the spread and finish the season cashing at a rate of just about 59%. As March Madness approached and I was brought on to write for DPA, readers were treated to a 45-27-2 record of sides and totals over the final month of the season. This season, betting write-ups will posted exclusively on DPA almost every day but be sure to follow my Twitter too so you won’t miss a pick on days with abbreviated slates.

  • Current Season ATS Record: 30-33-1
  • Current Season Totals Record: 22-20-0
  • Previous Season ATS Record: 180-127-9

Texas A&M +2.5 vs Harvard

  • This is probably the most evenly matched game of the season so far. Both lineups are complete from top to bottom, but each excel in different areas. Harvard is a team that can not be taken lightly this year, but I think Buzz Williams gets the job done tonight with the more talented team
  • Harvard is more experienced as a whole team but the Aggies starting five match them well enough. Even though Harvard is a talented team offensively I do not trust them against a team as defensively talented as A&M. Not to mention the full week of prep for should produce a strong game plan
  • The one issue I have witnesses with Texas A&M is they have looked awful knocking down their three-point shots. Fortunately, the Crimson struggle to defend beyond the arc and have thus far allowed over 40 percent of opponents attempts from that range to fall

Providence vs Long Beach State, Over 146.5

  • Providence games have gone over their last two times out and Long Beach State overs hit in their last four. I really think both teams move the ball quickly and have efficient enough offenses to easy pass this total. If the Beach even get close to 70 points this one is an almost certain winner
  • Ed Cooley just got beat at home by Penn and is not going to overlook Long Beach State here this afternoon. I think he gives Luwane Pipkins and David Duke a green light and they each produce in what should be about 30 minutes a piece. They average over 80 points per game
  • This is a semi-home game taking place today in the Anaheim Convention Center. I think a friendly crowd will keep Long Beach State energized and they will show just what their offense is made of against a Tier B team. I gave the LBSU over on Sunday and we won

Marquette -2.5 vs Davidson

  • Here at the Orlando Invitational I expect Marquette to finally show itself after what has been an obscure start to the season. Markus Howard may have been Player of the Year frontrunner coming into the season but has looked average and has a match up today where he can finally come alive
  • Davidson has a great offense and can really hang with anyone in the country. However, the defense of Marquette is so far superior that I think the Wildcats get stalled on plenty of possessions. Today the committee should get a look at why Davidson should not be playing this March
  • Marquette absolutely feasts in the paint and Davidson does just not have a solution to defend under the basket. Aside from Jon Axel Gudmundsson I do not think the Wildcats have anybody that can keep this game close. This should be a comfortable cover

Arizona -15 vs Pepperdine

  • I like the over here as well because this should be a high scoring game, but Arizona is the play. They really should be able to win this one 90-70 with their eyes closed. I hate to say it but the PAC 12 is very strong this season and Arizona has Final Four potential
  • The Wildcats start a mix of freshman and seniors but have such a deep bench I think everyone will get their turn to pour it on Pepperdine tonight. Nico Mannion continues to play better every game and should sink a handful of deep shots against the poor defense of the Waves
  • Both teams love to play fast tempo and that is a huge benefit for us. The more possessions per game the less room for variance, so a game with 75 will yield the exact results you would expect. That thing you should expect is a ranked team absolutely dominating a weaker opponent

Let’s win today Playmakers! I am confident in every pick that I provide and play them myself. College basketball is unpredictable and that’s why we love it, so always bet
