NCAA BASKETBALL – 11.30.2019 – Best Bets for Saturday’s College Hoops (Free)

Hello Daily Play Action! Anthony Marro here, back to share my NCAA Men’s Basketball picks for the entire college season. Last year I was happy to supply over 300 picks against the spread and finish the season cashing at a rate of just about 59%. As March Madness approached and I was brought on to write for DPA, readers were treated to a 45-27-2 record of sides and totals over the final month of the season. This season, betting write-ups will posted exclusively on DPA almost every day but be sure to follow my Twitter too so you won’t miss a pick on days with abbreviated slates.

  • Current Season ATS Record: 34-36-1
  • Current Season Totals Record: 23-21-0
  • Previous Season ATS Record: 180-127-9

William and Mary +8 at Buffalo

  • William and Mary are 6-1 against the spread this season and I love them in this spot getting so many points. This Buffalo team is just not nearly as good without Nate Oates at the helm and I think the Tribe not only cover but have a chance to win outright today
  • Buffalo loves to play up tempo and it has led to some careless mistakes so far this year. This is great news as William and Mary have struggled to get turnovers and should be able to top their single game total easily here, especially with all the possessions we should be seeing
  • The Bulls failed to cover in their only home game so far this season while William and Mary have already covered four times on the road. This Tribe team is much more experienced and has a distinct size advantage over Buffalo. At the very worst Nathan Knight will keep this close until the final buzzer

Richmond -5.5 vs Boston College

  • Richmond has covered in three of there past four games and I think most would agree they are the much better team than Boston College. Already they have beaten Wisconsin and played Auburn down to the wire. I think we see them win by double digits here
  • So far this year Boston College has not beaten anyone of note. They have three losses against DePaul, Belmont and Saint Louis who are all quality teams. History should repeat itself today as Richmond has proven they are a force to be reckoned with in the A-10
  • Early indication is that Grant Golden will test his ankle pre-game, but I think even without their junior center they perform fine. He has two sophomores behind him who will be able to carry the load and carry the Spiders to victory if he is unable to go

Arkansas -16 vs Northern Kentucky

  • Arkansas has covered in every game this season except their latest which failed to cover by one point. Meanwhile the Norse have looked like nothing special and I think they will continue to struggle against better teams. Arkansas is a Top 10 team defensively
  • Not only has Arkansas covered in five games but they have also covered this number in each of those. If they can beat South Dakota by 21 points they should have no problem covering this number today against a far less complete Northern Kentucky team
  • Fans should show up in Fayetteville for an evening game on a day with no home or away football. Bud Walton Arena holds nearly 20,000 fans and the Razorbacks have one of the Top 10 home court advantages in the country. Laying this many points should not matter much at home

UNLV vs Cincinnati, Over 136.5

  • Both teams had their past two totals go over and I think they make it three straight here. I believe that UNLV is going to be able to keep this close and that will force the teams to drive up the score. I think Cincinnati wins but that could happen in overtime, or at least once both teams break 70
  • Jarron Cumberland is probable and all sources point to him playing in this one. Cincinnati is averaging almost 76 points per game and I think if Cumberland is on the floor, they can top that number against the weak defense of the Runnin’ Rebels
  • Cincinnati plays very fast tempo on offense and while their defense is talented, they typically do not force particularly long possessions. I think we will see lots of shooting as UNLV tries to stay competitive and Cincinnati players attempt to finally find their stroke

Samford vs Louisiana Tech, Over 146.5

  • Louisiana Tech has had games go over in four of the last five contests they have played. I am excited to watch this game as it should be a high scoring tussle between two strong mid major programs. I think Samford scores enough to keep this close
  • These teams are similar as both have better offensive number than defensive and each is quick at moving the basketball down the court. Samford is shooting the three ball at close to 38 percent this season and I think just a handful tonight will be enough for us
  • Louisiana Tech is significantly smaller, but I still do not think they will have too much of a challenge scoring inside the paint. Specifically, you should see DaQuan Bracey taking and making a lot of shots inside the arc if you tune in for this one

Let’s win today Playmakers! I am confident in every pick that I provide and play them myself. College basketball is unpredictable and that’s why we love it, so always bet smart!
