Even without Tarasenko, this line was still able to perform posting a goal courtesy of Brayden Schenn in St. Louis’ 3-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks. This line has performed astoundingly well over their past three games with four goals and four assists between them.

SAN JOSE SHARKS 1ST LINE: MEIER | COUTURE | PAVELSKI

Honorable Mentions: BUF2, MTL1

Bargain Bin

Image result for calgary flames logo wikiMichael Frolik (DK: $3,900 | FD: $3,700)

Frolik was instrumental in Calgary’s 6-3 win over their division rivals, the Vegas Golden Knights, in what very well may be a first-round playoff matchup. Frolik recorded a whopping four assists along with two shots. Tonight he and his teammates will face off against the New Jersey Devils, where the Flames are huge (-410) favorites to win.

Image result for montreal canadiens logoAndrew Shaw (DK: $5,400 | FD: $5,100)

Shaw is beginning to heat up for the Montreal Canadiens after notching two points in his last two games. It was less than two weeks ago when Shaw recorded his first career hat trick along with a five-point performance from his linemate Max Domi to record the 8-1 win over the Red Wings, in Detroit. Tonight, Shaw will receive another opportunity to wreak havoc on a Detroit side who have lost 9 of their last ten games, this time in the Centre Bell.

Image result for boston bruins logo wikiDanton Heinen (DK: $5,200 | FD: $4,300)

Heinen is always a reliable and affordable play on Boston’s top line alongside Bergy and Marchy. Boston has won eight of their last ten games and Heinen has strung together a three-game point streak with two assists on five shots in Boston’s 4-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins last Sunday.

Image result for san jose sharks logoGustav Nyquist (DK: $4,900 | FD: $5,000)

Nyquist has two points in his last three games, including an assist last game in the Sharks 3-0 win over the Minnesota Wild. Nyquist also appears on San Jose’s second power-play unit alongside the dangerous Timo Meier. Nyquist will most likely see around 15 minutes of ice-time tonight, and has posted plenty of shots in most of his games since being traded to the Sharks.

Honorable Mentions: Thomas, Nylander (recent call-up), Hintz, Wilson, Grabner, Aston-Reese

PP vs PK Matchup

Image result for san jose sharks logoSJS PP vs WPG PK  Image result for winnipeg jets logo wiki

San Jose has the 5th best Power Play in the league, and Winnipeg has the 8th worst Penalty Kill in the league this season.

Honorable Mentions: PIT PP (6th) vs WAS PK (21st)

Stud D-Men

Image result for montreal canadiens logoJeff Petry (DK: $4,900 | FD: $3,900)

Petry is criminally underpriced on FanDuel and could easily be the bargain of the slate as the Montreal Canadiens are set to face-off against Jimmy Howard and the Detroit Red Wings. Petry managed to record an assist in the last game that the Canadiens played against the Red Wings. Jeff also appears on Montreal’s top power-play unit alongside the aforementioned Domi and Shaw.

Image result for buffalo sabers logo wikipediaRasmus Dahlin (DK: $4,800 | FD: $4,200)

The 2018 first overall pick has been having a stellar season for Buffalo as a stalwart on their top two lines throughout the season. Although the Sabres are on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs, Dahlin has still been good for around 21 minutes of ice-time per game and has posted plenty of shots and blocked shots.

Image result for calgary flames logo wikiRasmus Andersson (DK: $2,900 | FD: $3,800)

Andersson has been performing spectacularly for his price tag, and tonight the Flames are -410 favorites over the New Jersey Devils who may very well see their playoff hopes end this week. Rasmus recorded an assist last Sunday against the Vegas Golden Knights and is nearing an average of 18 minutes of ice-time per game. Andersson is also on Calgary’s second power-play line.

Honorable Mentions: Kempny, Weber, Schultz, Pietrangelo, Giordano, Burns

Image result for dallas stars logo wikiBen Bishop (DK: $7,800 | FD: $9,200) -135

Bishop has not only won his last three games but he has conceded only one goal in those three games combined. Bishop is a tad pricey, but he’s one of the NHL’s hottest goalies right now and will be up against a side that have dropped their last four games including eight of their last ten. On top of that, Eichel will not be starting tonight as the Sabres sit ten points out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, while the Stars need a win to hold their wild-card spot in the West.

Image result for montreal canadiens logoCarey Price (DK: $8,000 | FD: $8,700) -225

As mentioned earlier the last time these two teams met, it got ugly and I mean really ugly. Despite losing last game to the Ducks, Price still holds a 28-20-5 record along with a 2.62 GAA and a .914 SV%. Not to mention that the Wings have dropped nine of their last ten games, which includes the 8-1 loss to the Canadiens in Little Caesars Arena. Montreal needs this win as they sit tied at 79 points with the Columbus Blue Jackets at 79 points for the final wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference, with the only thing separating them being 4 points in goal differential.

Honorable Mention: Smith (-410), Dell (+100), Binnington (-185)
