Tonight’s Stacks

DK: $16,000 | FD: $15,500

Image result for byron domi shaw

This line is beginning to heat up for the Canadiens, last game they were able to click for a line goal in Montreal’s 5-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks. Tonight they will be up against less formidable competition in the Anaheim Ducks and John Gibson who has lost seven of his last eight games, including letting in 5 goals against the Blues last Wednesday.

DK: $14,000 | FD: $15,100

Image result for zucker staal donato

This line lit up the best team in hockey with a 3-0 win last night. Zucker led the way with a hat trick followed by two assists from Donato and an assist from Staal. Zucker has been a top choice of mine for a while now with six goals and two assists in his last seven games.

Honorable Mentions: WAS1

Bargain Bin

Image result for washington capitals logoTom Wilson (DK: $6,000 | FD: $4,900)

Wilson opened the scoring in his last game against the Flyers en route to a 5-3 win. Tonight he and his teammates will welcome the New Jersey Devils into the nation’s capital as they seek to secure their sixth straight win. Not to mention, Tom has also been posting a ton of shots with 13 shots in his last five games.

Image result for anaheim ducks logo wikiTroy Terry (DK: $2,700 | FD: $3,500)

Terry has only played 21 games in the majors this season, but as of late he has begun to heat up for the Ducks. Last game alone he posted three assists in the Ducks 5-4 loss to the Blues. This gave Terry four points in his last two games. At his price, he is an excellent GPP punt play and pairs nicely with Nick Ritchie.

Image result for carolina hurricanes logo wikiNino Niederreiter (DK: $5,200 | FD: $6,400)

Nino has four assists in his last three games and has found his groove with his new team. The canes are 8-1-1 in their past ten and Nino along with his linemates Aho and Williams have been responsible for much of the team’s recent successes.

Image result for montreal canadiens logo wikiBrendan Gallagher (DK: $6,800 | FD: $7,300)

Gally has four goals in his last five games and has averaged four shots in those five games. Gallagher’s ice time has been largely inconsistent however he does play alongside his linemate Tomas Tatar on Montreal’s second power play. Although he has a big price tag, he has one of the highest ceilings in the slate since he scores in bunches.

Honorable Mentions: Rackell, Weal, Hagelin, Aberg, Connor, Drouin

PP vs PK Matchup

Florida has the third best Power Play in the league, and Minnesota has the 12th worst Penalty Kill in the league this season.

Honorable Mention: MIN PP (14th) vs FLA PK (11th)

Stud D-Men

Image result for washington capitals logoMichal Kempny (DK: $4,400 | FD: $3,600)

Kempny is a cheap defensive option and is always a threat to record a point alongside Ovi. As mentioned earlier tonight the Washington Capitals will be up against the Devils who have dropped their last four games. Kempny averages around 20 minutes a game and has been posting both shots and blocked shots.

Image result for winnipeg jets logo wikiJacob Trouba (DK: $4,800 | FD: $5,200)

Trouba has three points in his last three games and this season has solidified his role as one of Winnipeg’s top defenseman. He plays anywhere between 20-28 minutes of ice-time per game and posts plenty of both shots and blocked shots.

Image result for montreal canadiens logo wikiJeff Petry (DK: $4,800 | FD: $4,000)

Petry shares Montreal’s top defensive duties alongside Shea Weber, and both would be solid options tonight however Petry pairs better with tonight’s top stack as he plays with them on Montreal’s top power-play unit.

Honorable Mentions: Weber, Van Riemsdyk, Spurgeon, Suter, Severson, Carlson

Image result for goalie silhouetteStud Goalies

Image result for washington capitals logoBraden Holtby (DK: $8,400 | FD: $8,900) -345

Holtbeast has won his last four starts and has the best odds of the slate by a country mile considering he will be at home, looking to improve his team to their sixth straight win while playing a team who has lost their last four games not to mention that Holtby holds a 25-16-4 record this season

Image result for montreal canadiens logo wikiCarey Price (DK: $8,100 | FD: $9,100) -125

Price is my second favorite goalie tonight, his odds are not as large, but he has still won three of his last four starts and will be up against the lowly Ducks tonight with the lowest O/U of the slate at 5.5. Not to mention, Price’s numbers have been stellar this season at 2.51 GAA and a .917 SV%.
