Welcome to the Thursday September 10th edition of the Stack Report. We have six games on the FanDuel main today and on DraftKings. I’ve done my best to isolate only the best GPP stacks for this MLB DFS Slate on both sites. Let’s jump into the stacks.
Tampa Bay Rays (5.61 Implied Runs)
vs. Mike Kickham (BOS)
All day every day we go against Red Sox pitching. Mike Kickham is another pitcher in a list of middle relievers pressed into starting duty for the Red Sox this season. Kickham brings in a 5.52 xFIP and 2 appearances for a total of 5 IP….So, It’s going to be short and ugly for him. If it’s a LHP you absolutely must play Mike Brosseau, 1B, with 5 HRs and a .278 expected ISO. After him you need Brandon Lowe, 2B, with his 10 HRs and .227 expected ISO. In the last few weeks, Randy Arozarena, OF, has been absolutely raking with 4 HRs and , no typo, a .909 expected ISO. Two cheap fliers to round out a TB stack are Austin Meadows, OF, and Hunter Renfroe, OF.
Los Angeles Dodgers (5.92 Implied Runs)
vs. Madison Bumgarner (ARI)
Either Madison Bumgarner is hurt or it’s time to hang them up. This year has been disastrous for Bumgarner with a 7.18 xFIP and 9 HRs in 21 IP. Against a Dodgers team stacked top to bottom this doesn’t bode well for the Diamondbacks. The #1 guy to roster for the Dodgers is Mookie Betts, OF. Betts has 14 HRs and 6 SBs on the season. The power tandem of Cody Bellinger, OF (10 HRs & .270 expected ISO) and Max Muncy, 1B (10 HRs & .256 expected ISO) are a must own. On the same level as these other players is Corey Seager, SS. On the season, Seager has 11 HRs and 31 RBIs. Additionally, you should consider AJ Pollock, OF (8 HRs & .227 expected ISO). Also, consider Chris Taylor, 2B, and Will Smith, C.
