The Sixth Man – February 10th Main Slate – NBA DFS

Hello Playmakers and welcome back to The Sixth Man report where we look into the daily slate for value to ensure that our playmakers have the most flexibility with their lineup construction from a price standpoint. We have a few top-heavy options that we will want in our lineups tonight so finding the proper value on a slate this size is important for us to maximize our ability to plug in studs. NBA is always changing, therefore we need to be on our toes more than ever in this day and age for the sport to be effective. I am finally back from a short hiatus, so let’s take a look at what’s available today!

Jerami Grant (DK$4600 | FD$4900)
Grant seems to still be in the starting lineup despite Millsap returning from injury. He’s averaging 26FP over his last five, and should continue a similar trend tonight with MPJ on the shelf as well. Over the last month, SAS has been dominated by big men and currently ranks in the bottom-ten in defense vs bigs. While Grant doesn’t normally get minutes at the 5, he is active on the boards at the 4 which is why I have him on my radar tonight. Another bonus is the fact that he’s priced roughly $1000 less on DK than he was in his previous game. It’s a spot I want him in today and think he should be safe for 5x return, with the potential to 7x as well.

Terence Davis (DK$4800 | FD$4400)
Props need to be given to the Raptors organization because boy can they develop talent! Every time someone falls out of the rotation due to injury, the next man up doesn’t skip a beat. Terence Davis is looking like a gem despite going un-drafted last year and should get to keep rolling tonight in the event that Kyle Lowry is out again with whiplash. He fits Toronto’s system quite well as a gritty two-way guard, similar to FVV. Davis has shown inconsistencies but most of this has been around his role and minutes, both of which have become a little more stable as of late. The Wolves play at a fast pace and bleed points to guards; the addition of D’Angelo Russell will only make this worse. If Lowry is ruled out again today Davis will be allow over my lineups as he’s got near-40 point upside.

Jae Crowder (DK$4500 | FD$4200)
Crowder is looking like one of the better assets acquired at the trade deadline and should have more opportunity for consistency going forward with the Heat. If his debut wasn’t indication enough, it seems that Miami is set on giving Crowder plenty of minutes going forward. With Butler likely out again today, I assume he gets the start again. However, he would absolutely see a dip in production if Butler returns tonight, making this a situation worth monitoring. He wont go for 40FP+ but should float in-and-around the 30s as long as Butler is Out.
